Extra Driver(s)

If you intend to share your journey with another driver, please register the named driver at the time you make your car reservation or when you arrive to pick up your car. There is a nominal "one-off" charge to cover the additional insurance for each additional driver.

YOUNG DRIVERS

At FOX AUTORENT we do not make an extra charge for drivers below the age of 25 (in addition to the extra drivers premium) but the insurance excesses increase if they were driving at the time of the accident.

We normally do not allow you to add an unregistered additional driver during the rental period except in exceptional circumstance (such as serious illness or death of the registered driver). If this is the case you should telephone our reservations number as soon as possible during working hours (8 am -8 pm CET) or on +36 70 455 4001 after hours.

If there is a claim for costs arising from damage to the vehicle or a fine or penalty that has been incurred, these are the responsibility of named driver who took out the rental agreement. If you were not driving at the time and the car is involved in an accident, the named driver must put this on the accident claim form.
