Local Taxes and VAT

VAT

If you are a private client, all the prices shown on our web site and quoted by our Reservations Staff include VAT (or Áfa as it is locally known). The current rate of VAT is 25% (from July 2009).

Your rental agreement will show the net price of each service and the VAT element. A VAT receipt is normally given to you at the end of your rental unless circumstances prevent us from doing so at the time (e.g. late night returns, home deliveries, etc.). In these circumstances we normally mail your invoice to the address you have given us).

If you are a Corporate customer and have entered into a formal contract with use, you will be invoiced at the end of every month. Again, VAT will be shown as a separate item.

CAR LICENCE FEE

This is a fee which is added to your car rental on a daily basis. This amounts to €3.00 (plus Áfa) per day which will be converted into the local currency at the appropriate rate (the Hungarian Forint or HUF) at the time the rental takes place.
Corporate customers have a special rate of Car Licence Fee where there are repeat rentals of one month or more. Please ask our Corporate Sales for more details about the applicable rates.
