Dear Sir,
I have used your company many times, mainly from Fly Balaton airport but also from Budapest airport.
I was going to book again today for the period 5th to 11th May but on progressing the booking found strange new daily charges under the title Licence fee & noted the reduced free insurance cover & the extra cost to get reasonable insurance cover.
I am sorry but Avis in the airport is now cheaper than your company & I have therefore booked with them.
In the past Fox had a very good reputation for simple honest charging. The new hidden costs not included in the headline cost are an unwelcome change.
I hope that things improve and that we can do business again in the future.

Sorry to hear about this. After extensive checking, we still offer a cheaper pricing structure than many of the well known car rental companies in Hungary. I accept that the change in the way we are now charging for our cars, from a "one price fits all" to "a wider choice of options to suit the needs of the client" has caused some concern and misunderstanding amongst our regular clients. We are now seriously looking at ways to sell our message better to set minds at rest.
Our base prices are now much lower and even with the extras such as insurance and for delivery (when required), prices are 10-20% cheaper than they were under our previous pricing policy. In addition, you can also save an extra 10% off car rental prices by becoming a member of Fox Express. Hopefully our telephone conversation on the same day helped to clear up any misunderstanding and we look forward to providing with car rental services when you next come to Hungary. Paul St Pierre.
